Combine bandwidth receiving from Two ISP with Squid Server

Hi All,

I just want to how can i club the bandwidth received from two ISP.
I hv two leased line each of 1Mbps link. hoW IT IS possible if I merge both b/w on a Linux server  which have two Lan Card.  so that if one link goes down, it does not affect the work.

my main objective is to make a failover squid proxy server having 2 links.
IF any link goes down, client not suffer at all. All the traffic route automatically.
ISP1-------------->
1mbbs
                                               from both  ISP    ---> Linux Server Box(1+1)---> 2 MBPS
ISP2-------------->
1mbps
I want this on the Linux Proxy Server
Can anybody suggest how it is possible in redhat linux..
Any help is highly appreciable.

Well if your ISPs are also using proxy then it is very simple to do such thing in SQUID !! otherwise you have to use iptables etc to do so !! and for that I have to look documentation as I am not expert in Iptables .

Is there any method by which iptables can be used  to measure b/width.
Is there any idea to do this for implementing RIP (router infomation protocol) as redhat 9 hv a ripd daemon. I hv not much awareness abt router level.

Any idea????Pls share.
