Keyboard problem
« on: July 21, 2004, 04:16:18 AM »
Hi, there. I am really new in linux...
Here I got a problem, each time when I try to change to log on as another user, the keyboard is not responce in the log on screen. The mouse is ok thought. I am using Redhat linux v9.0(Federo) and un-known keyboard. But I do not have any trouble after I logged on.
Anybody has met such a problem before?
A strange thing is that if I am using windows, I can not press back-space continuously. However, this is not a problem under linux...
Please help. Many thanks.

Man.. strange though. .  Tried to use any other keyboard ever ? I think your keyboard has some circuit shorted in it.. so sometimes they work.. sometimes not !

Hi, man. Thanks for your reply.
However, it only not works under GUI log in. And if I stay in the account for a short time only, it is not a problem...
