where can I find Logs

Need to know where can I find logs in a Redhat 9.0/RHEL 4 AS

You can find syslogs in /var/log/messages

For samba,ftp and  or any other service related logs ...just go to /var/log and cd to particular directory i.e samba,vsftpd etc.
