My dear friend,

1. Are u refering to the root password and u don't want ppl to change it?

2. If yes, set the password on the boot manager to protect it...

3. If still he/she is still fooling around, implement an encrypted filesystem.
(Available at www.tldp.org --> Search for encrypted root-filesystem)

4. Lastly, if it's a home pc...set the BIOS password.
