hi, i installed suse 9.1 personal as dual boot with win XP. i am not able to configure my network card. i hv SURECOM EP-320X-R 100/10/M PCI Adapter. pliz help. thnx.

what do you mean by unable to configure the card ? is it not dectected or you don't now how to assigne ip address etc to it ? btw there is YAST available in SuSE .. it can do most of the work for you in SUSE ..

my card is detected but the problem is i am not able to open any site. thou i can ping my ISP.

i tried that /etc/resolv.conf thing too but all i cud login in my LISP account.
my ip=>  172.16.4.29
server=> 172.16.0.1
DNS=>    202.63.188.2

now tell me how to make that resolv.conf file.

i hv configured everything from YaST. but the problem persist.

did you set gateway ? btw who told you that server is  172.16.0.1  ?

done! i configured it afterall. yea everything is up now. 172.16.0.1 is router on our network. we have our LISP accounts on that.
