Dear Allz,

how can i install iptables or ipchains

how can i configure iptable ir ipchains

Ipchains were used in earlier kernels..

Now we use iptables..  

iptables are better than ipchains and you can consider them as new product for same purpose..

Almost now every distro comes with iptables preinstalled.. if you don't have then u can install it from rpm which is easily available on internet  to download.

To learn iptables.. well it is very versatile and big.. you can go to netfilter.org to see more info !!
