Title: domain name server

hello sir greetings with god
i am awaneesh
i am configuring dns in rhel 5
while configuring the dns i am unable to ping my dns and when i check
/etc/sysconfig/resolve.conf then i got there
nameserver 192.168.0.1
only unable to find
search dns name
so tell me how can i resolve this problem
all the steps going on well according to me where is the actual problem

first check may be firewall will be blocking the port 53 . if that is so then open it first.
