Title: Squid And IIS 6 Authentication
Post by: nuxboy on August 08, 2006, 01:57:22 PM
Hello,

I've set up Squid and everything is fine, but we have a Sharepoint services server on the local domain.

When you go to the site i.e. sharepoint.domain.com/sharepoint/default.aspx, I don't get the pop up box for authentication as you would without the proxy server on.

I get the following error page (which seems to me that the site works just the authentication to IIS 6 doesn't):
Code: [Select]

Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource.

Access requests are not enabled.

Sharepoint is on a Windows 2003 server running IIS6

Any help with this much appreciated.

Thanks.

in the connection settings where u have provied proxy address there defien one thing moere
in the option " use no proxy " defien the ip address and name of  your share point server so it will not use proxy to access that server and will directly contact it .
