Hi all,
I have a problem. I have a local Area Network with 10 users. I try to use squid to authenticate their connection to Internet. I must use mysql_auth with a database mysql to do it. I installed squid and mysql in linux server (Mandrake 9.1). I create a table in the database with two fiels : Username & Password. I would like to create another field named “expire time” for example to control time of connection of the user; but I don’t know how to do. Please help me to use mysql_auth with the database to authenticate users with an expire time for users. In fact my great problem is give an expire time to each user. I don’t know what to do. Help me by giving me a script (How configure squid with mysql_auth to do it).
I’m looking forward to your response
Regards
