Title: how to connect to the net using conexant modem

hi im new in using linux..>i though that ity will be easy for me to connect to the net but i was wrong..> redhat 9 cant detect my modem..>what will i do?????

please help me how to connect to the net

hi sori bout teh l8 reply, ive got a connextant 56k internal modem pls help..>

another question:

my win xp os is messed up since i installed redhat 9 lit i cant log on to it suddenly it asked for a admin password..>is it a coincidence? coz i didnt put any password when i set up xp...>it work for 2 weeks though..
