Title: XDMCP Problem while connecting to Linux X Server
Post by: vravi on January 02, 2006, 02:43:44 PM
Hi

I have a problem while connecting to my Linux machine using XManager or XWin-32 software. The error I am getting is the screen is becoming just in grey colour, after few minutes it's giving error : "XDMCP connection failed, try again."  My Configuration file (/etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf) is similar to this...

xdmcp]
# Distributions: Ship with this off. It is never a safe thing to leave
# out on the net. Alternatively you can set up /etc/hosts.allow and
# /etc/hosts.deny to only allow say local access.
Enable=true
HonorIndirect=true
MaxPending=4
MaxPendingIndirect=4
MaxSessions=32
MaxWait=15
MaxWaitIndirect=15
DisplaysPerHost=100
Port=177
# Willing script, none is shipped and by default we'll send
# hostname system id
Willing=/etc/X11/gdm/Xwilling

Help in this...

Thanks in advance for any help.
