Title: Linux on Mac
Post by: sil on April 04, 2008, 12:36:43 PM
Hi.

What are your thoughts on installing linux (say openSuse 10.3 or Ubuntu) on an Apple MacBook?
I'm considering buying one of the new MacBooks (2008 edition), but I need Linux.

Are there any known/unresolved issues regarding installation, hardware support etc. on Apple (I'm thinking wireless could be a problem...)?
Are the installation procedures on PC and Mac equivalent now that Apple uses Intel chips?

Regards,
sil
