Title: Outlook with squid

Hello all,

I am using Squid proxy on Linux9 all my clients in lan are able to access to web pages but having problem in Outlook of mail sending.

Please tell me what i want to do for working Outlook with squid.

hi Vlinux

Pls open the port for SMTP( 25 ) and pop3 ( 110) for the working of outlook in squid configuration.

Or try installing the transparent proxy, which u can see it in the tutorial section.

hello,

for assum ur ethernet card(eth0) connected to the internet ,issue this cmd,

#iptables -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE

#service iptables save

#service iptables restart
 
now working for outlook express

hello dear
 Do one thing
 Just put your squid proxy server ip address in outgoing mailserver and incoming mailserver  
 setting of out look express.
