hi friends,
I had windows 98 and linux loaded on my machine, I desired to install windows xp on unused partition. I installed windows xp as a new installation. the installation process completed, I could see windows98 as well as windows xp while booting, however linux is not visible on boot loader?.
seems windows removed grub boot loader?.
How do i recover grub loader ?.
Can any one help?.

Its simple..
boot from Linux CD , & boot prompt give
#boot:linux rescue
After asking some questions to you ,it will automatically goes to command prompt
At the command prompt, give this command :
# grub install /dev/hda
After that reboot ur System........
It will definitly work , if Linux partotion exists...
