Post by: stephen on April 07, 2006, 05:20:04 AM
Hi to all,

Once again i am logging for a doubt after a long time..
Here on of my client having two linux data servers using Samba.

The linux server is dual booted and all the share patitions are FAT32.
I have mounted the FAT Partitions in Linux and Shared it Linux.Client using FOXPRO and the clients are win98.

Here i am facing one problem.I receive the error like
"device dowes not existon the network".
At the same time i ping the server ip i receive a good reply. So there is no problem with the network.

when i restart the smb service the the software works fine..

Why it is happening?

Pls help me..
