i dont know how to update but u can download the newest package of GTK ...after that install it

latest gtk+ is here.. http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gtk+/2.6/
download that..

Then go here to instruction to install :
developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/gtk-building.html

i download a GTK+ in www.gtk.org in past!
but the GTK+ in this site includes three or four parts such as glib etc!

i dont know this one how is different with that you tell me???

i have the read the page developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/gtk-building.html!

it make me know many thing about GTK+!!!
