data cable conectivity problem

SIR I HAVE NOKIA5300,I HAVE REDHAT LINUX5.WHEN I CONNECT DATA CABLE TO MY CELL THEN MY OS GETTING RESTARTED CONTINOUSLY UNTIL DISCONECT THE DATA CABLE.
I WANT TO ACCESS INTERNET USING DATA CABLE THROUGH MY CELL.SIR PLS HELP ME HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

what data cable you are using and what is your OS version ?ie. Redhat version ?
