i found this at some site i tryed it and it worked gr8 for updateing and installing dependancies   http://www.linux.duke.edu/projects/yum/download.ptml    after you install it just open the terminal and do that su thing get root  and type yum update bang done it starts to update hope you find this usefull as im really new to linux and try to find the easiest way to do the lthings i dont know much about .[/url]
