Post by: priteshranjan on June 06, 2012, 06:02:45 PM
how can give the permission to a particular user ( other than root) access any file.
accutly i create a user just simply using the command

 #  useradd pritesh
#   passwd ranjan
 #  chmod 777 pritesh
 # su - pritesh
when i used the following command it gives the error.

# ls -l /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/lib/libsqlplus.so
it gives the error   it gives the permission denied.

I also get the same error. Did you find a solution to this? Am using Vista as well.

- Unable to create directory
- Error: Network access is denied.
