Title: Squid performance
Post by: omnia on January 06, 2005, 10:54:38 AM
hi there,

im a newbie in linux, i have just run squid on redhat 9 and i enable wccp and it works fine ,the problem just i dont notice difference in squid performance comparing with cache express on windows so i need to know how to measure the performance in squid.
and if i need to change anything in squid.conf to increase the performance  like cache_dir or cache_mem
Btw  i but them  cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 2048 16 256
cache_mem 256 MB

also another thing my cache.log keep displaying Config 'request_header_max_size'= 51200 bytes.
Request header is too large (52560 bytes)

what can i do?
