Title: How to Activate kernel to protect the Malicious Code
Post by: anil_garg5 on August 12, 2004, 11:17:23 AM
Hi All,

I am using Redhat linux 9 as a proxy server.
I just want to activate my kernel so that it start protecting  all malicious code like virus ,worms or .eml or .nws files ( these are nimda worms generated file).

What module I hv to add in the Kernel compllation process so that my server work more robustly.  i am using ACL in squid for blocking .eml ,.nws file.  But I think it is better if THis is implemented at the Kernel Level.

I am not much famlliar abt lnx kernel..Pls help.

Thanks in Advance,

Anil Garg
