Title: serial ata (SATA) and SUSE with RAID
Post by: macscunge on May 26, 2004, 07:46:31 PM
I am a newbie to linux and cannot install suse 9.1 pro on my machine.
I have an asus a7n8x deluxe with 2 sata 80gig seagate barracudas running as stripe 0.
The only info I could find says to run the raid array in compatibility mode which does not exist in my raid bios (the latest). It just has options for stripe size and you can choose striped array or mirrored array.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
                                      Thanks.
