Title: Manage Bandwith in linux router
Post by: vlinux1 on August 31, 2010, 12:30:56 PM
Hi All Ricky & Gaurav,

I have configured Linux Router and it's working perfectly. Now i want to manage bandwidth in that below are the exmaples.

1. 1xx.xxx.xxx.xxx/30(256Kbps), 1xx.xxx.xxx.xxx/29(512Kbps), 1xx.xxx.xxx.xxx/28(1Mbps) etc i have created this  ip pools in my network and want to configure bandwidth with priority.
2. Bandwidth Report should generate pool wise  so that i can monitor the usage. There are Hardware solution in the market but they are very costly. This hardware solution also using Linux so my plan is to configure this all on the router and i think it's a basic need for every network.

 Please let me know.

Thanks & regards,
VJ
