Title: The Red Hat CD was not found
Post by: jmakie on July 28, 2008, 12:36:35 AM
I have an ECS P61WP-Fe motherboard with 384Mb of RAM. 800MHz CPU.
FDD and patitioned HDD 6Gb/4Gb.

I have tried two working basic CDROMS. I have tested the Red Hat 9 CD's (all 3).

I have copied the contents of the CD's to the 4Gb partition and cannot connect to the linux image.
The HDD is bare except for the copied cd's on a FAT32 partition.

How can I install Red Hat 9?

So you are trying to install redhat from hard drive ?

Why don't you try installing directly from CDs ?
