Title: Internet share from OSX to gentoo using firewire
Post by: twinfinjim on May 12, 2005, 11:01:24 AM
Hello there,

does anybody know of a way to share an internet connection from a Mac using OSX, to a laptop using gentoo(2.6.9 kernel) using a firewire cable.

I don't have a LAN set-up between the 2 computers, but the firewire cable connection is working fine to ping with.

Cheers

If you can ping the probably you have got a network setup using firefire cable.
All you have to enable Internet sharing on ur OSx and depending upon the type of sharing method set up ur gentoo.
