Title: not able to browse internet on my linux system.

Hi all,
I configured my linux system for network , the configured connection is active, when i send ping command on my dns servers its saying tht unreachable. and im not able to browse internet. Im new to linux and very much confused with all this.
Can anybody help me out?

first tell me wheather u r using Dial up connection or u r using internet from Proxy server..????????

not using dial up, its dsl/cable connection within a small office with 10 computers.
