internet connection sharing using ppp connection-pl help me

computer -1 is connectied to internet using ppp.


computer-1's eth0 is connected to hub and is having redhat linux 9.0
(server)

computer-2's eth0 is connected to hub and is having redhat enterprise linux 3.0 (workstation)





How do I share internet in this situation.

please help me out

Man.. simply follow this.. Internet Sharing in Linux and give static IP to both computer like set 192.168.0.1 from your computer one and set 192.168.0.2 for computer 2 and then in computer 2 set 192.168.0.1 as gateway and give ip of ur isp's DNS as domain name server.

To find out what is dns server of your ISP look /etc/resolv.conf while you are connected to internet.

To set ips etc.. there are gui available to configure your NIC.

Hello

            With your help i am able to ping the computers
from each other.

            I.C.S (Intenet connection Sharing) is also ok.
