Title: installing RedHat 9 on ext hard drive?
Post by: p.ravisas3 on June 14, 2005, 11:31:28 PM
Hi,

I have Win XP on the internal hard drive. I have an external 120 GB USB drive. It has 20 GB partition for linux, 1024 MB swap partition, and the remaining is blank FAT32.

Is it possible to install RH 9.0 on the external HDD? In the installn. process, the system hangs with the following message : Loading USB- storage driver.

Thanks a lot
