How would I uninstall SuSE Linux then Reinstall it as dual b

After many partitioning attempts I deciced it would be best to uninstall Linux complotely then reinstall it as a dual boot to then increase the size since I have the size I want it in GB.

Also I would like to know if somebody else has done the same thing

Also I found these too would they help but they look oudated and when I remove Linux won't I have a huge space of blank space which I could merge into XP

hmm..
so you are trying to uninstall.. its easy, simply format the partition on which SUSE is intalled or start installing the new distro.. it will ask you to hv fresh installation then it will do same for u.

And that tutorial is not really a linux tutorial .. lolz..

Anyways.. don't worry about MBR.. just during installation make sure to install boot records at MBR and it will be there for you!

I still want suse but give it more space like 5GBs and still dual boot with xp

Its better you use fdisk and repartition the hdd. This will erase the data on the partitions you touch. As you want to completely remove linux just delete its partition and adjust the space accodingly. Everything else will be done by the installer automatically.

Remember: You will loose data on the partitions you touch or change or adjust. So if you donot want to loose windows dont touch that partition.

Consider slackware 10.1 then, it's maximum installation takes only about 3GB.

If u chose to use simpler and smaller Linux:
1. Ubuntu
2. College Linux
3. Memphis ( Never use it b4)
4. FC3/FC4 if with workstation installation.

5GB should be good enuf :)
