Hello,
i set up a linuxserver (Debian) with Squid and SquidGuard and i installed Shorewall as firewall.
All works fine, but some urls can not be visited by the clients (like as they were offline) but when i try the urls from
my home, it works.
it seems the url use .ASPX and HTML.GZ.
Should squid be configured to show the urls with aspx and html.gz ?
Or does the firewall block the content ?
Thank you
Shaka

most probably something with squidguard.. all you need is to first verify if squidGuard is not blocking those file extentions !

Hi Folks,
I found the problem, it's a Microsoft problem: :-\
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B841998&x=14&y=9 (http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B841998&x=14&y=9)
I configured the Client like it's described under "Workaround" by microsoft (see url), this solution works.
The problem is not solved until we could download "the next Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 service pack that contains this hotfix " :(!
