Title: ip forwarding or router forwarding for squid
Post by: tomamodi on December 24, 2005, 06:48:36 PM
i am in need of setup squid as following

setup
lan     192.168.1.0

router:(1) 192.168.1.1 (isp, 1)
router(2) 192.168.1.2  (isp, 2)
router (3) 192.168.1.3 (isp , 3)
router (4) 192.168.1.4 (isp ,4)

squid cache 192.168.1.5

clients from 192.68.1.6   to 192.168.1.56   (50 clients)

i want  squid cache to work with the client req

for example
client 192.168.1.5 get reply from  -router  (1)  (isp 1)
client 192.68.1.10 get reply from   -router (2)  (isp 2)
client  192.168.1.25 get reply from - router (3) (isp  4

as short
squid only follow perticular client req from pertiqular router

it is same that in insted of  four(4) squid cache,s for four (4)router

one will handle the all

hope some one go through this before and give some idea

thanks
