I've written an ip firewall. I was unsure of how to handle the output when an output message dies. I have logged and accepted them. I see no danger in just dropping these messages and am wondering if I am correct. I see SYN, ACK, ACK/SYN, RST, ACK/PSH, ACK/FIN, and ACK/RST as types if that matters.
