I allowed only my network in /etc/tcp.smtp but if i check in /var/qmail/qmail-smtp/current log file its showing me diffrent networks ips are trying to send mail from my server.
I am using firewall and my server is behind a firewall and only smtp, pop, imap, http traffic is allowed.

I am confused because different IP Addrs trying to use my SMTP i am using spam and clam both r working well if i check /var/log/maillog

I want to alllow only my IPS to use the SMTP please help me regarding this issue.

Regards,
VJ

its not a matter of very much attention as first if they are able to send the mails or not if your server is not relaying these mails then there is no harm . some time some spammers tries different servers if they are open relay or not.
