Title: problem with squid
Post by: saxiee on July 23, 2004, 10:35:29 AM
Hello All!
I am running squid as transparent proxy set ip forwarding ON and also set all rules for tranparent proxying including httpd_accel parameters.....but i am still getting errors of moblink on clients
"Log Out...Could not Connect...

Dear User, If you are behind a firewall or within a company local area network (LAN), you will need to open outgoing TCP connections to Port 51215 on your proxy server. "

at the other end firewall is set to be "no firewall " in "security level"

secondly squid running successfully but not creating cache ... when try to run "RunCache" i got
"Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/var/squid.out 2>&1
Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/var/squid.out 2>&1
Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/var/squid.out 2>&1
Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/var/squid.out 2>&1
Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/var/squid.out 2>&1
Running: squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/var/squid.out 2>&1
RunCache: EXITING DUE TO REPEATED, FREQUENT FAILURES
"

every time squid starts it it shows the 0 entries in cache swap

please help me in solving the problems
