I have a TATA Indicom Walky LG LSP 350T Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP).I am using Ubuntu 6.06.Can anyone help me in making this one work with the current OS.
I know this is the nth thread about this in this same forum, but I don’t understand how to do stuff like creating wvdial config file etc.

OK.
I have created two files.
wvdial.conf and resolved.conf
but it is saying the following......

currently I dont' have any reliance or cdma to connect to net but wht I remember that mine worked  in few tries and was LG LSP 340E .


But you may first give me output of following

Code:
wvdial    /etc/wvdial.conf


Also add following lines if not there in your /etc/wvdial.conf  --->
Code:

init2=AT+CRM=1            
Flow Control= Hardware (CRTSCTS)

when i tried the command /etc/wvconf    it said permission denied.... i am using open suse 10.0 and the modem is being detectd by yast control centre but when i tried the comand given in the thread as to how to configure reliance cdma phones its saying modem not found on any port.....

you can try "sudo"
