Hi all,
I use Fedora Core 8 with GNOME environment and Cherry RS 6000 M CYA keyboard.
The problem is that after restart everything works OK except of the ALT key. After more another restart (or more) it works OK. This behavior looks like random.
Everything works OK under windows, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.
I have no clue what can be be wrong, Has anyone an advice?
Thank you.

Hi Lupal..
Never been in such situation and as you said that the problem is random then again it is some tricky stuff.. most probably, your keyboard is not recognized properly.

Keyboard setup can be done by modifying /etc/X11/xorg.conf file ..
Look for "Inputdevice" section for keyboard stuff.

if doubt then you can ask again Smiley

Thank you for the advice.
I changed the model of the keyboard for some which seems to be similar with mine and it started to work immediately. I hope also after reboot.
