raid problem

HI everybody.

I want to grow harddisk on of our server.I just added the hdd to raid.while invoking the command to grow

#mdam --grow /dev/md0 --raid-devices=4

I am returning with error Cannot reshape array without increasing size (yet) .It screwed up me.Any advise please
