Hello friends
I have one problem
When i started my linux box i.e. Redhat 9 It shows blank screen with one cursor blinking
Can anybudy help please

Was  it working fine earlier ? If it  so then you may have to repair your filesystem, Had happened to me twice .

How can i repair my file system
I was trying to recover it using linux rescue mode but i am not able to solve it.
Send me some solution or way of solution

Try login in rescue mode and then do the following..


#fsck -fA /dev/hda1


where hda1 is ur linux partition where your linux is installed.

I was done whatever you given But still, I have problem
Actully I replace my keyboard. Is it possible this was happen due to changing keyboard

I don't think that replacing a keyboard can cause such problem !

Did the kernel give u any error messages when loading?
Could check your boot manager (LILO/GRUB/etc) for any mischievous options.

How is ur console device files working? Things like /dev/tty... /dev/Stty0 /dev/... (was it deleted accidentally due to something, or privileges changed during booting--> Someone's playing pranks?)

Lastly, check on RedHat bugzilla or dev. corner, it could be a bug.

My computer when start it not loading grub only gives blank screen
I am able to run it in rescue mode it shows me all files as setted before the problem
My Kernel not given any error message so whats the problem
Can anybudy having solution

Ok you have now cleared it.. it is bootloader problem I think. Reinstall the grub and tell us. You can do that from rescue mode!
