Hi Ricky

I am facing a problem with my linux webmail.I am using webmail ver 1.81. The problem is that the mail attachments are showing as winmail.dat when some users are accessing mails through browser. If they are downloading those mails to Outlook then it is showing its proper mail attachment. Is there any tools available for decoding this winmail.dat file while the server receiving the mails.

Please help me on this issue, because I am facing lot of problem with this winmail.dat attachment

Hi Ricky

Thanks for ur earlier reply. If we are clicking on winmail.dat attachment it will not open in a browser. It will ask for downloading the attachment. If we are downloading those attachment it will download as winmail.dat file. Then we can not see the contents inside that file. There are some tools available for decoding winmail.dat file on windows. But this is not possible because users are accessing their mails from diffeerent places. Please help me on this issue.
