Hello all !!

I am using RedHat 9.0, I want to update some packages, I always use only console mode... If I give the command in root level up2date.. it gives the error as follows :-

There was an SSL error: [('SSL routines', 'SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE', 'certificate verify failed')]
A common cause of this error is the system time being incorrect. Verify that the time on this system is correct.

Wat is the problem.. how to update the packages...

Thank you

Hi all !!

Ok I solved my problem regarding up2date error, If any one gets the same error just copy & paste the below link(with wget command in console mode @ root level), then its works

wget -q -O - https://rhn.redhat.com/help/new-cert.sh | /bin/bash

OR

just download the latest version & upgrade the up2date package, then it is solved..

Thank you,

Sathish
