normally on boot in linux we see list of things running to start the system on screen

but how i stop all this or just  see  a  text "GOODLUCK" nothing else

using grub as boot loader

i want after bios  just  a word

GOODLUCK................

then blank screen

You need bootsplash .
Description:
Linux graphical bootsplash allows you to use custom graphics during early system startup. It makes it possible to place a nice graphic behind or above the kernel boot messages. It hooks into the fbcon layer and, if activated, searches the initial ramdisk for a JPEG picture to show. On any output operations to the console, it takes care of painting a margin around your text and a background picture behind the text with a set of special cfb functions.

But I think installing it will be little tricky..

iit is really very hard -is there any thing just to stop the boot display after we think about

other things just i want to  that  boot messege to disapear
