Hi,

I'm newbie in linux.I try to install linux distro such as ubuntu,mandrake & RH9.after cd booted & press ENTER the desknote screen become white.for info, I use 1G desknote, 512m DDR, Sis display etc. Could anybody expert in linux outside there assist me !!!

hmmm..

You are facing same problem in every linux distro you tried ?

Try Mandriva latest then tell .. Also try to use Knoppix and tell if it you were able to run it.

I tried the solution that u suggest but the problem still same...white screen . any idea from u all guys ?

It seems the problem is with the graphics chipset drivers and resolution.............
