trouble with database DNS

hello,
I have configure dns in my machine; the service name was started succeed but my problem is for pinging the name of my machine from microsoft pltafrom; if I ping the IP addres it work but it doesn't with the ping of the name of the server.
!!!!? Huh

ur dns is not configured properly !
