hi
i have install Redhat9 and configured squid proxy.

and it is running now.. and i try to configured iptables
i have created a file rc.firewall in /root
but there is no effect..


how can i configure iptables steps  needed..

and how can i block msn messenger and yahoomessenger .. and porn sites..

thankx for reply..

Well iptables are not related to squid , ie configuring squid and iptables are both different things, to configure iptables better you look for netfilter's home page.

About msn and yahoo see few earlier discussion of the forum, you the search box Smiley
