good day everyone

 I have some problem in my proxy server i already install it my client can browse their ie but when i try to recieve email using outlook i cant also cant ping.

Please help

Sir does the IP address of your SMTP  or POP is allowed on your PROXY, as far as i know the ip add on your ie is only for browsing, there is a different ip add for your smtp or pop.

actual I dont have any idea to add the ip add of my pop3 or smtp can u please give me a sample of that. Im using a squid proxy.

Hi vher

There are two types of proxies, simple and Transparent proxy.

using simple proxy u can just share the internet connection with ACL

if you configure transparent proxy u can do more than that.
i think you have simple proxy and your outlook vil not work

for configuring transparent proxy pls refer the tutorial and also search the forum, u vil get lots of post on this subject

Do either one..

a) do port forwarding for port 25 and port 110

or

b) Go transparent proxy way.
