How to configure Printer in LINUX

Hi all...
I am having TSP 6000 printer which I want to configure it with
LINUX operating system.
I am having the driver for that.But how to place that directory & where??
Plz tell me how to do it.

If you are having printer driver included with it for LINUX then all you need to is look around for the readme or install file which usually contains the instructions specific to the driver.
