hi,
       i need help about booting linux red hat 9 from floppy i dont wanna load linux from grub bootloader from harddisk i want to boot from floppy disk how to make this disk tell im a newbie. actually my floppy disk get bad so thats y i want to make new boot floppy disk plz help thnx bye.

hi dear welcome to linux world
 You want to creat boot disk
 Insert your Linux cd 1 in cdrom go to images directory there is file bootdisk.img
 do the following
 dd if=bootdisk.img of=/dev/fd0
 where /dev/fd0 is your floppy drive
