GRUB not running after format and reinstall XP

i have a dual boot system(xp and redhat)...initially it used Grub to load linux or xp, ut once i format my xp drive and reinstall it...i found that grub is no longer running and i cant even log into linux, what should i do? thx

You have not told us that wht is your linux distro ? If it is Redhat then boot using Linux Resuce from Installation CD and then follow steps and mount the system under /mnt/sysimage (it is all there as wizard)
Now at command prompt type..

Code:

/sbin/grub-install /dev/hda

It will recover and reconfigure ur grub automatically
