yahoo messenger is not starting in my fedora core3.....when i type ymessenger at the command prompt......it says segmentation fault......i installed fedora core 3 from the isos i downloaded from redhat.com.............................and md5sum also worked well with the downloads.........pls help me out.............

hi buddies
i know how to solve this pb,please write step by step
first uninstall your messenger by:
#rpm -e ymessenger-version
                        (here version is ur versiion of yahoo messenger  )
then del these files  by using command:
#rm -rf  /opt/ymessenger
after that del these files also , this is very imp step , command is
#rm -rf .ymessenger
after that step install yahoo messenger rpm again, by command
#rpm -ivh yahoomessengerversion
after that type command
#ymessenger


 it definitly works,

I did it all...but ehan I type the instalation part it says:

/etc/security/selinux/file_contexts: No such file or directory
error: open of ymessenger-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm failed: No such file or directory
