I am confused Huh that what does repository means?
Please anybody define it,

It simply means where a Digital data is stored and maintained. If we say RPM repository then it means there we maintain collection of RPM files.

for example where the RPM repository resides and does the rpm package resides or the files installed by the RPM package resides Huh

its not only about rpm but any type of digital files. RPM is just a type of digital data.
